Emigration is the act of leaving one’s own country to settle permanently in another, moving abroad.
Nowadays, after the war, when people in Armenia are disappointed, they are trying to leave the country if there’s a chance. If I knew there’s going to be war, I would leave the country, because my brother was on the frontline and I would like he wasn’t. It was too hard to live without any news from him for weeks. Thanks, God, he is alive, but thousands of young boys aren’t. It is terrible to realize that thousands of families are unhappy now and ever because they lost their sons, husbands. I can’t even imagine their pain. They will never be the same.
Patriotism is certainly a good thing, but we have one life, and we want to live in abundance. But if the country gives you only pain and troubles, only hard times why do you have to stay there. I do not consider a person a traitor if he leaves his country in the hope of a better life. So if you want to leave Armenia, then leave, it is your decision.
It is really difficult to live in Armenia, there is no opportunity to find a good job, food, clothes, products are becoming more expensive every day. Of course, Armenia is a good country, people are kind, nature is beautiful. But the conditions are not such as to live as you want.
I’m not sure that I want to live in Armenia till the end. If I have a good opportunity to leave Armenia I think I would. You can call me whatever you want, but I want a good and safe life for me and my family. I don’t want to live in fear that something is going to be wrong with my people. I love my country anyway, It is so dear to my heart, but…
And in the end, God crate Earth not countries, so every point in the Earth can be home for us.
